Borivali Chess Tourament
On July 16th, 2023, Adcasion hosted its first rapid chess tournament at the Sri Lohar Sutar Gnyati Hitachintak Mandal Welfare Center in Borivali East, Mumbai. The event attracted 122 players, showcasing intense competition and strategic brilliance. Arpit Pandey emerged victorious, starting from the 4th position with a rating of 1510 and achieving a performance rating of 1692. All participants received snack boxes containing samosas, wafers, Frooti, and sandwiches, ensuring they were well-fed throughout the event. This successful tournament sets the stage for many more exciting chess events by Adcasion.
Virar Chess Tournament
On February 4, 2024, chess enthusiasts gathered at Mhada 12, near MGM School in Bolinj, Virar West, for the Adcasion One Day Open-Age Rapid Chess Tournament under the Palghar District Chess Association. The event began at 10:00 a.m. with a prize pool of ₹30,000. The top ten finishers in the open category received cash prizes, with the first-place winner taking home ₹4,500, a trophy, and a gold medal. Age category winners (U18, U15, U12, U10) also received prizes.
